Miami lifestyle newborn photography session. “Light up the darkness”…. just one of my many favorite Bob Marley quotes. This quote came to mind as I prepared the images for this post. I guess it is because of the beautiful light that seeped into this client’s home despite the gloomy skies outside. Just as I arrived it started to rain naturally it became dark inside my client’s home. So the question was do we reschedule the session or just shoot?

I usually reschedule photoshoots if it is a dark gloomy day and I am unable to get enough natural light. So of course I was so happy to learn that mom and dad were feeling the dim lighting. I was too was feeling the dim lighting because it is not often that I get to shoot in low light unless it is a personal project.

The cherry on top was that this little princess was a wonderful model, with no complaints not even when we placed her on one of dad’s drums. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how this session turned out! ♥
